SUMMARY:Bridging Borders\, Bridging Generations: COP30's Approach to Climate Action
DESCRIPTION:Interested in climate action and innovative\, community-based approaches? You are warmly invited you to our webinar! Join us to learn more about the concept of “Mutirão”\, a key concept of this year’s COP30 climate conference in Brazil. \n“Global Climate Mutirão” designates a vision of collective effort for a common cause rooted in social capital\, mutual care and grassroots mobilisation. This webinar will explore what it means to build a bottom-up chain of mobilisation\, and explore the conditions needed to bring people together across disciplines\, borders and generations – in line with the ethos of Circle U. \nWe will discuss how to bridge divides between policy and science\, and how the participatory spirit of Mutirão can foster inclusivity and shared ownership in climate action. Join us to discover how collaborative\, community-driven approaches can drive meaningful progress on climate issues in the run-up to and beyond COP30. \nSpeakers\n\nProf. Dan Banik\, Universitetet i Oslo\nProf. Marcel Robischon\, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin\nDr. Wendy Morel\, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin\nAngelika Tangl\, student at Universität Wien\n\nModerated by Jens Jungblut\, Universitetet i Oslo. \n  \nRegister for the event below to receive the webinar link \nhttps://umfrage.hu-berlin.de/index.php/517995?lang=en
