Our Research
The Africa–Europe Cluster of Research Excellence (CoRE) on the Politics of Sustainable Development aims to advance interdisciplinary research, policy engagement, and knowledge co-production at the intersection of political power, governance, and sustainable development.
Program Pillars and Research Streams
The CoRE is organized around several interconnected research pillars, each designed to explore critical dimensions of sustainability politics. Collectively, these pillars form a holistic approach to understanding and shaping the governance of sustainable development.
Methodological Approaches
The CoRE program will adopt a variety of interdisciplinary methods: Comparative policy analysis, Quantitative and qualitative research, Participatory action research and Scenario building and modeling.
Expected Outcomes and Impact
